Gold swimmers are in a phase where they’re enhancing their technique, focusing on endurance, and
developing the ability to swim at competitive speeds. Training includes drills for stroke technique, sprint
intervals, longer-distance sets, and starts/turns. Swimmers in this group are encouraged to set individual
goals, improve personal bests. The emphasis is on consistency, hard work, and laying the foundation for
future competition. Gold Group members will be expected to attend meets throughout the season,
especially their respective championship meet. 10/11 year olds with multiple A cuts and or 12 year olds

Ages: 8-11
The Silver group is designed for swimmers who have a basic understanding of all strokes and are looking
to improve their skills in a competitive environment. Training focuses on stroke mechanics, building
strength and endurance, and working on starts and turns. Swimmers in this group are introduced to
more structured training, including intervals and swim sets. They will begin to work on pacing strategies
for longer events. Local meets and personal best improvement are key goals at this level.
